Pools offer plenty of fun, with perks that go beyond staying cool in summer.<\/p>\n

A pool can help you stay fit, encourage your kids to develop water confidence, and when it comes to home entertaining, a swimming pool can do lots of heavy lifting.<\/p>\n

How much does a pool cost?<\/h3>\n

Before pencilling in dates for poolside barbecues, it\u2019s important to set a budget for your swimming pool.<\/p>\n

At the more affordable end of the scale, an\u00a0above-ground pool<\/a>\u00a0can cost around $3,500 to $12,000.<\/p>\n

If you\u2019re keen on an\u00a0inground pool<\/a>\u00a0expect to pay a lot more, with your budget likely needing to start at about $35,000 and can go as high as $100,000.<\/p>\n

Bear in mind, a pool usually needs a few extras including a filter to keep the water clean. You\u2019re required by law to install\u00a0childproof fencing<\/a>, and some basic landscaping will help keep your pool clean and inviting.<\/p>\n
